Seagull Character Modeller – Early Worm (University Project)

Alongside my primary studies at the University of Dundee, I contributed to the animated short film Early Worm as the lead modeller for the film's seagull character. Working from concept artwork and project requirements, I was responsible for creating the character model, refining its forms and topology to ensure it was suitable for rigging, animation, and final production. This project strengthened my understanding of character modelling workflows, collaboration within a production pipeline, and creating assets that balance visual appeal with technical requirements. Working alongside fellow artists and animators provided valuable experience in adapting assets to meet the needs of a larger creative team while contributing to the successful delivery of the final film.
